ABOUT
Alexander Pohl is co-founder of the Berlin located Animation and VFX studio Lumatic. His focus lays on the conception and implementation of scenic spaces and worlds, as well as the Supervision and Art Direction of animation and hybrid films.
With his graduation film Trickster, he combined his passion for classical painting and the complex work processes of computer-generated film images.
As a professor specializing in VFX in the production design course at the Film University Babelsberg, he has further promoted this passion for image design and aesthetics.
In 2016 he took over the position of the Production Designer for the full CG feature animation movie Dragonrider, based on the novel by Cornelia Funke.
In addition to the daily studio work, he develops his own concepts for future film projects.
